                          Lead Pastor - Barry Lawson

Pastor Barry and his wife, Rosemary have been leading our church since 2005.  They are native Virginians and have spent most of their 33 years of ministry in the Old Dominion.  Barry is a gifted speaker who makes the Word come alive in his insightful and thought provoking messages.  Under his capable leadership our church is experiencing significant growth.

Pastor Barry has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Roanoke College, a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and most recently, a Doctor of Divinity degree from Liberty University.  He currently serves the Shenandoah District of the Wesleyan Church as chairman of the District Board of Ministerial Development, which oversees the training and ordination of ministerial students.  Along with his ministerial interests, Barry is an avid runner and regularly competes in local races and marathons.  Rosemary's primary interests are sewing and quilting.  They both love to travel, especially to see their children and grandchildren.

Barry and Rosemary have two daughters:  Jennifer and her husband, Jason Patchett, live in Indianapolis, Indiana along with a spoiled golden retriever named Durden.  Karen and her husband Artur Bayadyan, and their two sons, Robbie and David live in Yerevan, Armenia.
